Vianarra Launches Global Oral History Series on Winemakers
Patrick R. Dunn’s Vianarra has launched Meet the Winemakers, an oral history series documenting winemakers’ professional and personal experiences. The project publishes interviews as written transcripts alongside narrative summaries on the Vianarra website.
Subjects receive the same set of 20 questions a day ahead of their interview, according to the announcement. Interviews take place on Zoom or through written questions and answers translated as needed. Dunn archives the audio and video recordings, while interviewees review their written pieces before publication.
The series opened with California winemakers Scott Harvey of Scott Harvey Wines and Adam Lee of Clarice Wine Company. Dunn plans to add two interviews a week, with upcoming sessions involving winemakers in Armenia and the Republic of Georgia. The announcement describes the project as open to winemakers worldwide. This is a company announcement from Vianarra.
